I posted a video of my remote locks and got a lot of messages asking where and how so here's a quick DIY.
You will need:
Universal lock kit: Amazon
Soldering iron
Shrink tubing
Solder
Wire cutters/strippers
A couple extra feet of a wire for power
Double sided tape
I know some people hook this up under the dash which will make the hazards flash, chirp when you lock, or sound the horn. I don't really care about any of that and just want to be able to unlock the car remotely. The easiest place to hook it up for that is the trunk.
I also know some people like to use these connectors to make installation even faster which is fine, but I like solder
1. Start by removing both tail light covers
2. Pull out the carpet panel between the lights

3. Pull out the wire bundle behind the center thing and remove a big section of the tape around it

4. Cut and strip the following 3 wires; Green/black, green/purple, and brown.
5. On the new lock harness strip these wires: White, White/black, Orange, Orange/black, Black, and Red. These are the only wires we will need
6. Solder and shrink wrap BOTH orange wires AND the black wire to the brown wires
7. Solder and shrink wrap the Black/white wire to the green/purple wires
8. Solder and shrink wrap the white wire to the green/black wires

9. You will need you source 12v from somewhere. I ran a wire to the red power wire at my antenna, but you could also wire directly to the battery.
10. Use the double sided tape to mount the unit to the trunk wall

11. Wrap up everything with tape to keep it neat and from moving around a lot
12. Reassemble your carpet and you are done!
